Features & Benefits

Security InsideAgent provides the ability to transmit any data format using the GISB standard with PGP encryption without compromising any internal security systems already in place. InsideAgent provides for automatic encryption and digital signature, processing of outbound files and automatic decryption and signature verification of files received.  Management of PGP keys is integrated into the InsideAgent administration, and includes the ability to easily email the public key to trading partners.

Robust System InsideAgent will allow transmissions of multiple transactions simultaneously through the Internet to different trading partners. Information is stored for an unlimited number of host companies and trading partners.  Aliases allow for host companies to trade under different identities.

Easily Integrated InsideAgent's component based architecture allows for tight or loose integration into your existing backend or legacy systems depending on your business requirements. InsideAgent automatically sends outbound files at customizable intervals.

Backend Integration with EZEC EZEC is a java application for simplified transfer to and from your backend system.  It provides a cross platform solution facilitating file exchange with your existing translator or legacy system. Security for EZEC is optionally provided by SSL.

Browser Based Administration Browser based administration screens allow for easy management of your InsideAgent system and trading partner information from any location. These administrative screens enable you to manage operational data and view audit reports, timestamp logs, and any system errors from a web browser.

Error Resolution InsideAgent provides for immediate notification when errors occur during the transmission process, providing full backup and recovery capabilities with the ability to select and reprocess transactions. InsideAgent automatically re-queues files that have previously failed in transmission.

Last Step Processing Automatic invocation of customizable "post processing" steps for inbound, outbound and error processing.

Transaction Logs and Audit Reports System logs provide searchable records for all transactions. Audit reports can be easily generated summarizing all transaction activity.

File Archives Inbound files are archived in an encrypted form for non-repudiation prior to decryption.

Translation Support and Integration InsideAgent can transport files from any translation software.  InsideAgent for UNIX includes an interface to Sterling Commerce’s GENTRAN: Server translator.  InsideAgent will optionally route outbound flat files and inbound X12 files through the translator.

Additional Transport Protocol Supported FTP and SMTP are supported.
